Already, Becoming the LOVE of God (page 2)

AGENTS of LIGHT, or AGENTS of DARKNESS?

Chaos is death and darkness. Humans are called, and believers are equipped. Believers are made into co-creators with the Father. Or, we dismiss God’s order to seek our own, causing REBELLION. At that point, intentional or not, humans become agents of chaos and darkness.

"Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them." Ephesians 5:11

As agents of God’s LIGHT, LIFE, and LOVE, we are called and equipped to be His Ambassadors of Hope, Joy, Peace, and unconditional SELF-GIVING LOVE. In doing so, we become His SHINING LIGHT TO THE WORLD, agents of life and love, bringing order out of chaos and destroying death.

Agents of flesh live arrogantly in deception as they operate from human wisdom and mere human strength, acting as agents of darkness that bring more chaos, disorder, and death.

"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21

Agents of darkness are self-centered, and their selfishness amplifies chaos and disorder, producing doubt, oppression, despair, anxiety, and depression - proof of death.

"Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:18

Through the Father’s RADICAL GENEROSITY, we are EMPOWERED through Grace to live as Sons and daughters of God, reflecting the image and likeness of the MOST HIGH GOD.

Self, without God, is satan. Sadly, any human apart from the love of God reflects the image of chaos and disorder. Humans without God as their Father are automatically agents of darkness that serve satan and glorify his kingdom and domain.

"remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world." Ephesians 2:12

The choice we have daily is clear. Serve self and operate as satan’s imager of death and darkness, or to be BORN AGAIN, and to image GOD who is our FATHER.

"and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

And, as we co-create with God as our Father, we SHINE HIS LIGHT of GLORY, overcoming and destroying darkness.

"Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, “These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.” Acts 16:17

The snake deceived Adam and Eve using the lure of human wisdom and human empowerment, apart from God.

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:4-5

The kingdom of darkness is the kingdom of SELF - trapped and oppressed by elf-centeredness, self-protection, self-concern, self-absorption, and self-controlled - all forms of selfishness that always lead to more disorder, chaos, and death.

"which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words." 1 Corinthians 2:13

In the Bible, we see that Heaven and Earth rebelled and brought forth chaos and disorder, leading to more rebellion, chaos, and disorder. Rebellion perpetually creates slaves, oppression, hopelessness, pain, grief, loss, and regret.

"having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross." Colossians 2:14

Through their image and likeness, the Father and the Son, Jesus, which is love, RADICAL GENEROSITY, destroyed SELF once and for all, nailing it to the cross to receive its just punishment.

"For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18

Jesus, taking all of SIN and its EFFECTS upon HIMSELF, upon HIS BODY, in exchange, gave us HIS FULL LIFE of unspeakable joy, peace, and love.

"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all." Ephesians 1:17-23

As agents of light and Ambassadors of God’s KINGDOM of LOVE, we’ve been made ONE WITH HIM, and after receiving HIS FULLNESS, we let HIS LIGHT SHINE!
