Living to SHINE HIS LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE THE LOVE OF GOD to the WORLD!
Our entire identity and purpose is wrapped up and centered on one thing, and one thing only, our IDENTITY AS SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD! So LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!
John 3:21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
Once we receive the light by FAITH, we can see God as our Father and HEAR His Heart of love, mercy, and wisdom.
John 8:12 "Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
We receive everything, including HIS LIGHT, by Grace through FAITH.
John 1:4 "In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men."
Colossians 1:9-13 "For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."
Jesus declared that nothing can separate us from the love of the Father, which is in CHRIST. He said, “ONLY BELIEVE!” Anything that is not OF FAITH is SIN!
Philippians 2:10-16 "so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain."
We have only one choice: live totally surrendered to God and place ALL OF OUR Faith in Jesus and His finished work. Faith is trusting Jesus. Faith is trusting His Word of Faith, "It is FINISHED!" Do you SEE THE LIGHT?
Ephesians 1:3-14 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him, in love. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory."
We are called to LIVE LIKE WE ARE LOVED BY THE FATHER. Knowing we have been made righteous, made clean and holy by the blood of the Lamb, we are called to live surrendered. Knowing we are forgiven, knowing mercy, knowing His love has thoroughly cleansed us, we live boldly and courageously IN CHRIST.
1 Peter 1:1-16 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look. Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
REJOICE! Rejoice and defeat the works of the devil. As we live out each day knowing how much God loves us, a love that goes beyond anything we can think or imagine, we GLORIFY THE SON! The more we accept and receive the love of the Father, the more the Son is Glorified. As the Father is glorified, the Son becomes more and more beautiful. Receive what God has given us with GREAT JOY and destroy the devil's works as the Son glorifies the Father!
1 Peter 1:17-23 "If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from a clean heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
God is always with you, never leaves you, and stays with you as you walk through life. Walk knowing HE IS THERE WITH YOU. Acknowledge Him, talk to Him, praise Him, and thank Him as you receive everything from Him by Grace. Simply BELIEVE. When you do, regardless of your circumstances, God is glorified, and HIS LIGHT SHINES THROUGH YOU! You become, like Christ, a living example of God's love. So let your LIGHT SHINE!
John 3:2 "this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
