We Are Called to Be His Ambassadors of Reconciliation

God has made "Believers" righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ so that His love for All man could be displayed through us IN faith. It's for His glory and our redemption through His grace. Meaning, through God's free gift of love for us (grace), His sacrifice of love, we ARE reconciled to God. And, having been reconciled to God through Grace, we received the complete wholeness from God (meaning we are made whole and complete, lacking nothing). But, more importantly, God wants us to be His messenger of His love to the world as if God was reconciling the world to Himself through us, in grace.

"that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5:19

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

Through grace, God is no longer counting ANY sin against ANY man, and instead, He is imploring us to BELIEVE and receive grace by faith and so be saved.

"For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

God is then asking the "saved" to help Him reconcile the world to Himself, God.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—" Ephesians 2:8

He's calling the righteous, the ones He saved by Grace, to be Christ's Ambassadors as if God were making His appeal of Grace through us, those who have already received grace through faith as a free gift of God's love - love that we believe made us whole.

MADE WHOLE - Body, Mind, and Spirit... made complete, whole, perfect, reconciled, restored, redeemed.

"We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God" 2 Corinthians 5:20

Everyone was made righteous when Jesus died. He died to save everyone. But, unfortunately, not everyone chooses to receive God's gift of righteousness.

"For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: that person is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:" 2 Corinthians 5:14-18

Believers, however, are convinced that they have been made the righteousness of God in Christ by the Blood of the Lamb.

"What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;" Romans 9:30

Believers and followers of Christ are convinced that Jesus became sin for them, us, (meaning, He took our place on the cross and paid our debt) so that we could take Jesus' place (righteousness) and receive peace with Abba, making God our Father too.

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

Through the shed blood of Jesus and His resurrection, we have right standing with the Father.

"So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Galatians 3:6

He, who knew no sin, took on our sins and gave us His holiness, which is His right standing with the Father.

He made us righteous so that we would be righteous, and as such, as ambassadors of God's grace and His love, we would sacrifice ourselves as living sacrifices so that others can come to know His love too!

"having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross." Colossians 2:14

Jesus' death and resurrection made us right with God AND granted us complete freedom from the debt and the punishment we deserve.

"and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith." Philippians 3:9

Through Jesus, Grace was given, and to those who receive this grace are given eternal life, peace with God forever made whole. Therefore, having been blessed, as ambassadors, we give it all to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus, Amen!
