Chapter 1 - The Crisis: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Suicide

Get a new understanding of the “crisis.” Get a new heavenly perspective. A new attitude. Counterintuitive: GIVE yourself through a crisis.
Two kinds of CRISIS. A personal self-caused crisis that generates grief through unbelief and doubt and scarcity thinking, AND, the kind of CRISIS that happens whenever the Kingdom of God is Advanced on earth. Advancing the Kingdom of God will guarantee to create CRISIS.

• You are not alone. Partner with the Absolute Goodness of God. Phil 1:6
• Rejoice always. Do not let your heart be troubled. 2 Tim 2:11 and Romans 6:8
• Living beyond yourself, living beyond your crisis, living through the crisis.
• Crisis - Totally consumed with self - Selfishness. ALL Depression is caused by self-centeredness. Romans 6:11
• Self-centered people are easily offended, often discouraged, project defeat, speak of being depressed and hopeless
• Other’s-centered people serve others
• Living Sacrifice?

Chapter 2 - The Awakening: Self-centeredness is the Root of Emotional Discomfort

• Awaken - Advancing the Kingdom (Phil 4:19, Romans 5:3)
• Jesus is more than enough!
• Jesus has already done it!
• A new heavenly perspective (REJOICE! Rest upon “what we deserve” (death) vs “what we've been given” (absolute grace and unconditional love) and then give away what you didn’t deserve to those who don’t deserve it, either.
• The Inevitable Clash: Selfishness vs Other-centered
• Kingdom-minded: Steward vs. Owner
• Advancing the Kingdom CREATES CRISIS

• Start with the end in mind. Peace is found in the sweet spot between absolute GRACE and absolute TRUTH
• Stewardship: Turn your child over to God and TRUST in God’s Absolute Goodness. You are not the owner.

• Parent by Faith - Give Away Your Unconditional Love From God
