What is Godfidence?
Godfidence is a state of being, a place of resolve, and the belief that God is absolutely good! Exercising Godfidence is making decisions believing in God's absolute faithfulness to deliver every promise. Work requires effort for everyone, including the Godfident. But those who have Godfidence work to Bless the Father and the Son as they follow the Holy Spirit and not their own consciousness.
"He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.” Daniel 3:25
For the Godfident, there is always enough of every resource needed to fulfill anything the Father requests. This is because the Godfident BELIEVE God has already given them everything they would ever need IN Christ. Therefore, those with Godfidence abide IN Christ and do not shrink back and limit God's great vision - no way!
Godfidence is trusting the supernatural faith we need will to be there to help us fulfill our mission in the natural. God has given us everything IN Christ, everything we need to fulfill our destiny. The Godfident draws out God's supernatural blessings and manifests them in the natural world to bless others AND to honor God.
“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus." Matthew 14:29
Having Godfidence is humbly surrendering to Holy Spirit and posturing ourselves to RECEIVE what Jesus has already done, including granting us extra wisdom when we need it. But, of course, it is the Father's wisdom we receive, and it is His ideas that lead to being recused or restored or redeemed.
When the Godfident are under attack, they trust in God's divine interventions, and they BELIEVE they've already RECEIVED it through Grace!
"but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than mankind, and the weakness of God is stronger than mankind. For consider your calling, brothers and sisters, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God. But it is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written: “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:24-31
Exercising any kind of faith is a risk, but IN Christ, all risk is mitigated when the Godfident are obedient to the Father’s voice. The Godfident BELIEVE that being IN Christ carries a much higher probability of accomplishing God's purpose and plan. The Godfident sow and water expecting a harvest in due season, knowing that it is ALWAYS God who gives the increase anyway.
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
While our striving and fuss can manufacture a profit, albeit temporary, such self-effort does not honor God. Placing confidence in yourself limits God and limits what He is can do in and through you. It's true!
When Holy Spirit is the guide, God is always at liberty to revise HIS plan or reveal a new purpose for us because it's HIS journey to start with. We trust in Him. We rest in His finished work. Our trust is in His supernatural ability, and it's God that gets the glory when we act in faith!
We know that without faith, it is impossible to please God. The Godfident live to please God; it's their only focus. Faith pleases God.
"For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit." John 3:34
When the Father has spoken, the Godfident move as if success (fulfillment) is guaranteed because His faith finished everything at the cross. Meaning, His work is already done! It's been done, and now it is time to RECEIVE it. Our part is to walk out His provisions and manifest His grace in the natural. Thus, the supernatural is becoming the natural.
The work the Godfident can do at the Father’s direction will always produce a great harvest even in times of great famine!
"The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." Hebrews 1:3
The Godfident moves forward in confidence knowing Father’s intended outcome is secure. The Godfident have their hearts aligned with His. There is only one way to attain HIS goal and it does not include toil, striving, and undesirable consequence.
Godfident People Are Kingdom People
Godfident people are imitators of God and Jesus, and they are always at work in the best interest of the Kingdom. Godfident people co-labor with the Father and the Son and accomplish His purpose and plan - from the supernatural to the natural. The Godfident ones function as conduits through which God's grace and His mercy can flow, manifesting God's plan in the natural.
"For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people." Titus 2:11
The base motivation for Godfident people is to love God, be loved by Him, and love ALL others through Him. Godfident people know God first loved them, and they actively seek first to receive God’s love fully. The Godfident know they can’t give away to others something they don’t have. They know their first responsibility is to allow God to fully love them WITHOUT LIMITS so that they can be a blessing.
"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus. For His divine power has granted to us everything about life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us excellence. Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust. " 2 Peter 1:2-4
Before we can seek or experience the “love for God,” we need to simply receive what we already have, the perfect love from God through Jesus Christ. That's a paradigm shift. We love God because He loved us. Therefore, his love must be radical love.
